Civex GroupTechnology Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: June 9, 2026

Applicable Jurisdictions: United States (North Carolina) | Canada | United Kingdom

Our Commitment to Accessibility

Civex Group is committed to ensuring that our website and all digital content are accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities, across all jurisdictions in which we operate. We serve clients in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, and we recognize and respect the distinct legal accessibility obligations applicable in each region.

We are actively working to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across our digital presence, and we continuously take steps to identify and remove accessibility barriers.

Applicable Legal Standards by Jurisdiction

United States — North Carolina (Primary Jurisdiction)

Our primary operations are based in North Carolina. The following U.S. federal and state requirements apply:

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title II — requires state and local government entities to make digital services accessible. Entities serving populations of 50,000 or more must comply by April 24, 2026 (extended to April 26, 2027 per DOJ interim final rule published April 20, 2026 for covered entities). Our organization is working toward full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance under this rule.

  • ADA Title III — prohibits disability-based discrimination by places of public accommodation, including websites.

  • Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act of 1973 — federal ICT accessibility standard applicable to federal agencies and their contractors.

  • North Carolina Digital Accessibility and Usability Standard — North Carolina state agencies and entities must adhere to WCAG 2.1 Level AA for all agency websites and digital services.

  • NC Persons with Disabilities Protection Act (NCGS Chapter 168A) — provides state-level accessibility protections.

Canada

For our operations and clients in Canada, the following frameworks apply:

Accessible Canada Act (ACA) — federal legislation requiring federally regulated organizations to identify, remove, and prevent barriers for persons with disabilities. The December 2025 amendments to the Accessible Canada Regulations set updated digital accessibility standards aligned with CAN/ASC-EN 301 549, which incorporates WCAG 2.1.

  • Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) — applies to organizations operating in Ontario with one or more employees. Requires WCAG 2.0 Level AA conformance for public-facing websites. Designated public sector organizations were required to file an Accessibility Compliance Report by December 31, 2025. Businesses and non-profits with 20+ employees must file by December 31, 2026.

  • Provincial accessibility legislation may apply depending on the province(s) in which we operate or hold contracts.

United Kingdom

For our UK-based operations and clients, the following requirements apply:

  • Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 — requires UK public sector bodies to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA and publish a compliant accessibility statement. Compliance is monitored by the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO).

  • Equality Act 2010 — requires all organizations providing services to the public to make reasonable adjustments to ensure accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

  • European Accessibility Act (EAA) — came into force June 2025. Where our digital content or services are offered to users in EU member states, EAA-aligned standards (EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1+) apply to those services.

Technical Standard

Our target technical standard across all jurisdictions is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which satisfies the minimum requirements of all applicable frameworks listed above. For our UK public sector work, we additionally aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA where applicable, consistent with UK PSBAR 2018 requirements.

WCAG 2.1 AA encompasses 50 success criteria covering four core principles: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR).

Steps We Are Taking

We are actively taking the following steps to advance digital accessibility across all jurisdictions:

  • Conducting regular WCAG 2.1 AA audits of our website and digital content

  • Remediating identified accessibility barriers on a prioritized basis

  • Ensuring all new digital content meets applicable accessibility standards at the time of publication

  • Providing accessible formats of documents (PDFs, reports, specifications) upon request — in line with AODA, ADA, and UK requirements

  • Incorporating accessibility requirements into vendor and procurement contracts

  • Training staff who produce or manage digital content on accessibility best practices

  • Maintaining documentation of our testing, remediation, and accommodation processes

  • Reviewing and updating this statement and our accessibility plan annually

Known Limitations

We are in the process of conducting a comprehensive accessibility audit of our digital content. Some areas of our website or documents may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are committed to remediating identified issues and will update this statement as improvements are made.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us using the methods below. We will work to provide the content or service you require through an accessible alternative as promptly as possible.

Annual Accessibility Plan

We maintain an annual accessibility plan documenting our progress toward removing barriers across our digital content. Our current plan includes:

  • Completion of a baseline WCAG 2.1 AA audit of our primary website

  • Remediation of high-priority barriers identified in the audit

  • Review and remediation of PDF reports, technical documents, and forms in active use

  • Accessibility review of all new digital content prior to publication

  • Evaluation of third-party tools and vendor accessibility conformance (VPAT review)

  • Staff training on accessible document creation and web content best practices

This plan is reviewed and updated annually. Progress documentation is maintained internally and is available upon request.

Third-Party Content & Procurement

Our website may include content or tools from third-party vendors. We are incorporating accessibility requirements into our vendor procurement and contracting processes, and we request Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs) from vendors to document WCAG conformance. If you encounter an accessibility issue with third-party content on our site, please contact us.
