The M5 Junction 10 improvements programme advances a coordinated package of junction upgrades, link road infrastructure and network enhancements to support future growth in Cheltenham.

Early contractor involvement is underway with enabling works, surveys and detailed design progressing alongside planning and stakeholder coordination.

Surveys and Enabling Works

2024–2026

Accommodation works, site establishment, ecological mitigation and surveys are underway, with detailed design now complete.

Element #2:

Motorway Junction and Link Road Infrastructure

2026+

Delivery of a new all-movements junction and a link road connecting the M5 to west Cheltenham.

Element #3:

Local Network and Sustainable Transport Enhancements

2026+

Upgrades to the A4019 corridor, alongside new provision for pedestrians, cyclists and local connectivity.

Civex personnel support the project’s commercial function, providing specialist assistance in cost management, commercial administration and project delivery processes.

The scheme improves network resilience, enhanced connectivity and the delivery of housing, employment and sustainable transport infrastructure across the Cheltenham area.
